The morning at淡路インターナショナルサンプラザ seems to begin with the sunrise. It was said that one could see the sunrise through the windows facing the sea... Unfortunately, it was cloudy. There were still some rays of light shining in, which made it quite beautiful.
Well, the breakfast...
Jewel Box Breakfast
First, three types of smoothies: a smoothie made with Komatsuna and kiwifruit, a smoothie made with orange and carrots, and a smoothie made with pineapple and coconut milk.
All of them are easy to drink, and they are healthy and nutritious.
It has three layers.
First Course: Clam Crust, Dashi Wrapped Egg
Second course: Miso miso soup with green beans and chiri men, salmon sashimi, rose ham and Aomori garlic slice, shiitake mushroom salad
Third course: Cheese sandwich, Kira Ume, bamboo rounds, Oyogurt from Oshima Island, Kaga-Matsushita, apples, pineapples
And pickles (onion, sliced radish, cabbage?), along with rice.
This restaurant offers a special dish called Asari Miso Soup as an additional item.
Children's meals are also served in boxes.
Spaghetti with venison, salad, daichi-maki tofu, bamboo rounds, hash potatoes… and also salmon gratin.
In addition, there is also a miso soup with dashi.
A large piece of sea trout is a pleasant sight. Deservedly known as a local specialty, the dashi made with dill is prepared on the spot, so it's delicious while still hot. The dill infuses plenty of flavor into the broth, which is truly outstanding.
The breakfast was enjoyed, especially since there were many bikinis among the guests.
So, overall, I really want to stay at this inn again. The food here is quite good...

Our accommodation during our trip to Oshima Island was at this place. It was located on the Ocean Front, and the food there seemed to be of high quality...
We were informed in advance that we had three young children. However, they were provided with a room of 20 tatami mats, totaling 10 tatami mats per room. Additionally, the meals during the dinner time were also served in the rooms. This was very kind of them.
●关于酒店的情况,
The location is in Minamizu-mine Onsen, but it is situated on a slightly protruding oceanfront. Therefore, the view from the rooms is outstanding, with a clear view of the sunrise. It's an excellent location indeed.
Regarding the service, it was very polite. The staff provided clear directions, and the cleaning of bathrooms and other areas was done meticulously, which I found to be a great aspect.
The bath facility is located on the 1st floor. There are bubble baths, massages, open-air rock baths, and a sauna. It’s a standard type of facility. However, due to the old construction of the building itself, there is a certain sense of wear and tear. Perhaps because of this, a new two-story bath facility was added this year. I tried it out. The bath is located on the 2nd floor, and you can enjoy it while looking at the sea. It’s quite similar to an infinity bath. The usage is based on a night-day rotation system for men and women. But I would definitely recommend using this facility. It’s really comfortable. The water itself has a slight slippery texture, reminiscent of salt water from near the sea.
From the front desk, there is a small path leading forward. The main dining area has also been renovated, giving it a high-end hotel-like appearance.
However, there are only two elevators, so you have to wait for a while when checking in and out.
The rooms are 10 tatami areas each, with a long hallway in between. It’s also possible to separate the 10-tatami room on the sea-side completely. However, the downside is that there is only a single unit bathroom, which means the toilet and restroom are not separated. This is a bit of a disappointment. Additionally, the space for a washbasin is quite small, so it can get a bit crowded when accommodating multiple guests. The rooms themselves feel a bit old-fashioned, but they are well-maintained, so it’s acceptable. (There are also air purifiers available.)
Well, here's the main dinner.

Fruits (pineapples, oranges)
I ordered a sake from Kagawa for 781 yen, served at room temperature.
The children's dishes included 2 large fried shrimps, hamburger buns, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, and a generous portion of rice. In addition, there were milk puddings, mini chocolate cakes, and milk pancakes.
The dipping sauce for the dishes was extremely elegant and delicious. All the dishes were tasty, but especially the sashimi had excellent freshness and taste. The淡路牛 also had just the right amount of sesame seeds, making it tender and delicious. The tuna arashi was also flavorful, and it was a pleasure to enjoy such a delicious pot-au-feu for the final course. The chiri-men pot-au-feu combined the flavor of the chiri-men with the rich broth, providing a delightful experience after a long time.
All of them seemed to be prepared with great care, so I could consider this a restaurant where the cuisine is truly delicious. Since the review is quite long, I will write about breakfast the next day in a separate review.
