After concluding the negotiations with the customer, I will move to Fukuoka next.
Of course, a solid piece of iron cannot fly in the air. So, I choose the safe and reliable JR to travel towards Hakata. Even five hours is nothing compared to the risk of losing my life.
And then, a customer said, “How about some rice?” This time, I really went the extra mile to make sure they were satisfied. So, I quickly found a place to go and headed over to this sushi restaurant. That old man there… if you don’t pay attention, you might easily get lost. In just the time it took to move from Prince to Intercont, he got lost twice…
I ordered beer at the recommendation of the staff. It’s Asahi’s carefully selected product. Since they came all the way from Miyazaki, I wanted to express my gratitude with a toast. In October, I was even invited back to Miyazaki. Super happy♪ I really like Miyazaki so much that I even consider moving there. The conversation at this place turned into a lively discussion about Miyazaki. As expected of the president; he knew a lot about the deep aspects of the region.
And this president, for some reason, even took photos during the toast scene. What’s with him? Is he a reviewer for Yumello? Who is that? Lol. He kept taking photos all along. Thanks to him, we also got to take photos. Good luck. But it’s a bit suspicious. Still, it’s only our second meeting. We’ll have to wait a little longer before trying to get some information from him.
Well, the sushi starts with medium-sized pieces. This style has become more popular lately. Um, I don’t really want to say anything special about it. It must be a trend, I guess. Of course, it’s definitely delicious. But starting with medium-sized pieces… Ah, I said that too.
The appetizers were quite good. The abalone was tender, and the jellies made from summer vegetables were also delicious. The recipes for abalone with plum sauce and duck melon seeds are classic flavors. And then there’s the sea scallop and bonito. It’s summer… really nice.
The sushi was generally delicious, but the eel was the standout. It was a patterned squid, and the charcoal was mixed with salt. Additionally, there was a light squeeze of lemon juice on top. This was quite delicious.
The delicacy that stood out was the mochi sushi with oysters and ikura. It consists of a mochi, topped with shari and oysters/ikura, which are then combined together. At the end, it’s wrapped in seaweed and eaten. It’s quite interesting. However, I don’t really need the mochi at all.
Other dishes include eel hitsumabushi-style cuisine and soy sauce pickled vegetables.
This is quite authentic. From the counter, I could see that they were serving quite impressive grilled eels. That child was here too. I enjoyed it very much. Respect.
Finally, served almond tofu.
This place is quite good, with plenty of fruits. It seems like a suitable place for gatherings with customers.
It was a great restaurant.
