This restaurant is famous for its dishes that feature plenty of truffle. I booked a menu with a short course, and in addition, I purchased 10 grams of truffle to enjoy the dinner.
The interior design features lighting spots that illuminate each table, creating a very luxurious and exclusive atmosphere. The layout also ensures a proper distance between customers.
There were also rooms with complete privacy.
It seems that many celebrities also visit this place.
The appetizer is a fritter made with ham and cold vegetable soup. The fritter is fluffy and light, with a crispy texture. It pairs well with homemade tartar sauce and plum sauce.
This cold vegetable soup has a sweet taste, and it contains hazelnuts and apples. Additionally, there is plenty of fresh and delicious abalone...!! It was really delicious.
The next consomme soup is served in wine glasses. It’s a simple dish, yet it captures the essence of the flavors. I ate the first 2-3 bites without any further processing, and then topped it with truffle. The flavor spread through my body; the combination with the truffle was absolutely perfect!!
As the appetizer, a dish featuring eel wrapped in buckwheat flour crepes was served. It truly felt like experiencing a Beijing delicacy.
Both the appearance and the taste make one feel a blend of Japanese and Western elements.
And for the famous truffle, this is a perfect omelette toast! On top of the fragrant toast lies a semi-moist omelette, and on that layer is plenty of freshly grated truffle… The sight of the aromatic truffle pouring down before my eyes really lifted my spirits. It’s truly a masterpiece that fits perfectly with this restaurant’s reputation. Most importantly, the sauce made with Port wine is incredibly rich and delicious. There’s even enough toast left to have another one…
The main dish was lamb. It had a moist and juicy texture, with the meat's flavor fully appreciated through the perfect cooking process. Moreover, there was no trace of lamb smell at all! The young corn served alongside was also delicious.
Finally, there is freshly cooked rice from Ehime Prefecture's "Hime no Rin", and plenty of truffle here as well.
You can choose between seaweed rice or egg salad rice. I chose egg salad rice. The eggs are very rich, and they blend perfectly with the truffle flavor!! The addition of Japanese elements makes this a unique dish that other restaurants don’t have. ✨
The last dessert was jasmine ice cream and mango jelly, which helped to clear the taste in my mouth.
This time, we ordered 10 grams of truffle for two people. If you order just one piece, the price is ¥19,000 for this day. It’s not something that can be ordered casually. But I really felt that we got a true value that can only be experienced here. Even though it’s only 10 grams, it feels like a generous service from the staff… I’m grateful for that.
And above all, the hospitality of the staff was truly remarkable! Their care, smiling faces, and the way they engage in meaningful conversations with customers made everything incredibly wonderful.
A special dinner that satisfies all five senses in terms of cuisine, performance, and ambiance. A renowned restaurant where one would like to visit only on special occasions.
It was a restaurant I was glad to visit!
Thank you for your hospitality.
