As we exit Daishan Happy Road onto Kawaeke Street, a sign appeared. It was called "Daishan no Oyaji". The main restaurant is located near Reima Station. It seems that the owner of this restaurant is from Hokkaido. Hearing that they serve raw beef at an affordable price, I came here.
Instead of the old man at the bathhouse... it's the older gentleman who serves the tables. He's a very friendly person. The guests this night are mostly couples or married couples.
Tonight, there seems to be no lamb chop available, which is a pity. It seems that it can be prepared in some way. So instead, I will have lamb tagum.
●北海道限定 サッポロクラシック生 ¥880
A truly valuable raw beer that is not easy to find. It’s a bit expensive, but it pairs perfectly with jinjigushen. Let’s toast with this premium raw beer.
●「ジンギスカンセット」¥1,580(画像は2人前)
One serving contains about 5 slices of raw lamb meat. The vegetables include cabbage, onions, and a bunch of spinach.
Since it's raw lamb, it needs to be cooked thoroughly. Not for safety reasons, but because it’s too tough to bite through. Please serve it with a special sauce. Mmm, delicious. The taste of lamb is clearly present, yet there’s no smell or unpleasantness at all. Truly, it’s a rare product made from raw lamb. How do they manage to obtain such quality meat at such a low price?
The strongest combination is with rice. The rice itself is delicious, and when paired with lamb, it truly becomes a treat from Hokkaido. Perhaps it even pairs better with beer.
Adding a little garlic to the sauce enhances its flavor and makes it more delicious.
Thank you very much for the hospitality. If we come in a larger group, there will be more dishes to be served. Or, I think it would be better if two people come and order three servings each. I've found a delicious restaurant here. I won't have to travel to Hokkaido anymore. Ginzikun is really great.
